Only 120km northwest of Girona lies this valley at the foot of the Pyrenees (Vall de Nuria).
If you don’t have a car, you can get there by train, and the landscape during the journey is breathtaking. The train passes through rocky slopes to reach the station. Once there, it is possible to visit the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Nuria, an object of pilgrimage. In the early 1900s to reach the Sanctuary from Queralbs, you had to walk 3 hours on foot or by mule. \ud83d\udeb6<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortunately, the travel time has been reduced with the advent of the train. It is also possible to visit a small exposition regarding it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
